　 東京湾，相模湾，駿河湾，朝鮮海峡，五島列島，鹿児島湾，25～188m（内海 小郷 1968）， 本州中部から香港まで，房総半島以南の太平洋側各地浅海，能登半島周辺，隠岐（西村 1995）， 香港から対馬海峡，東京湾，25-?288m，小笠原諸島（Kogo 2006）．

　 スイクチムシ目の Myzostoma maculatum Jägersten 1937 が共生する（Imajima Hartman 1964）．
